Indie-punk heavy weights Green Day have recently announced that they will be performing a free concert in New York for at least 300 fans. This gig will be a few days after the release of their latest album ’21st century Breakdown’

Green Day will be performing the free show May 19 at Webster Hall. Myspace will be giving fans the chance to win tickets by responding to various bulletins and blogs on www.myspace.com/thelist. The gig will also be broadcast via Myspace shortly afterwards.

Described as “one of the most influential artists ever“, Morrissey has gained almost iconic since he first hit the charts in the early 1980s.

Since his 2003 come-back Morrissey’s tours have gone from strength to strength, with the announcement of his 2009 UK tour causing ‘panic on the streets of London’ as fans rush to get tickets.

Morrissey is set to play the O2 Academy Brixton on 26th May
